In many cultures around the world, Spring is celebrated as the New Year! The first day of Spring was March 20 this year. The first New Moon falls on March 28 and happens to be in Aries! Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, so we really are turning a fresh page and standing at the start of our new path!
I love this energy of new beginnings! It makes me feel like I can do anything!
The ram is the animal associated with the Zodiac sign Aries. The ram is a symbol of courage, playfulness and strength - so let's tap into the power of this Guide to help us start this new year with strength, focus and courage!
Remember Your Moments of Courage
Take a moment to take a deep breath, throw your shoulders back, lift your chin and call up your courage.
Remember times when life has invited you to be strong, brave and courageous!
Write down three or four of the most courageous moments in your life that you are most proud of!
Now that you're in the state of knowing that you have a courageous power in you, that you can tap whenever you need it, visualize what you want to conquer this year!
Call for a Symbol for Strength
Close your eyes and breathe deeply and evenly until you feel your breath regulate.
Allow your body to become relaxed.
Visualize that there is a still lake in the center of your being.
Allow yourself to sense this lake very clearly. If you can not see it, imagine it: how still it looks, how you feel looking upon it.
Now ask the lake to give you a symbol of strength to carry with you as you traverse this world!
Accept the symbol that arises, don't judge it or distrust yourself.
Now that you have your symbol of strength, think of creative ways that you can keep it with you or call upon it in your daily life. Can you find an image of it to print and keep with you, to post on your fridge, or save as your phone screen? Can you draw it? Can you find a version of it to wear as a pendant?
Find creative ways to have your Symbol of Strength with you as you walk this year of your life!
Work With Pressure Points
There are pressure points in the body that we can touch or anoint with oil to help call up our strength. I will list two points here that you can anoint or massage daily to help release fear that is held in the body so that you can feel your actual strength.
These points can be massaged as a daily empowerment ritual; but, can also be touched when you feel anxious, worried or afraid, to help release fear and reconnect you to your power.
Massage this point at the crown of your head to help you:
Connect to spiritual strength
Reset your endocrine system
Induce a feeling of deep peace and relaxation
Connect to this point on your wrist to:
Connect with your pulse - the source of your life force
Connect to the rhythm of your heart and tap into the feeling of infinity there.
Tap into your creative strength.
Now that you have discovered some effective ways to help you clear fear and other blocks, it's time to tap into your goals!
Write down 3 or 4 of the things you want to conquer this Year
Search your mind and heart for the things that have been holding you back. Do you find yourself backing down to fear just as you are about to begin a project?
Are you shy? Do you fee nervous to reach out to others? Do you struggle with anxiety that stops you from achieving your goal?
Do you have a list of things that you have been wanting to do your whole life that you just do not find time for?
think about what you would like to conquer this year and write it down. Tap into the energy of the ram who climbs vertical surfaces without thinking twice!
You know you have made some big achievements in your past and you know that you are strong.
You can achieve so much when you lay down your procrastination, fear, apathy and brain fog!
You are here to live, love and experience all that your mind and heart desire!
Place your hand on the center of your heart and repeat this mantra:
I am courage, I am strength, I am passion and love!
I am strong as the earth, fluid as water, bright as fire, agile as wind and infinite as the sky! I am alive. I am life. I am power!
